Aechmea bromeliifolia Dwarf
A ‘manageable’ form of an otherwise large growing species, that rarely exceeds 24 inches tall and is suitable for growing in a 6 inch pot. Grayish-green leaves in an upright, tightly constricted, bottle-shaped rosette have substantial marginal spines. The inflorescence is the classic ‘corn cob’ shaped head bearing yellow flowers and bright pink scape bracts.
