Hohenbergia lanata
A Brazilian species that has a bulbous upright shape. The lower leaves are flaring in a typical open rosette shape. The spread can be 36 inches with a height of 30 inches. The color is a bronze red.
The inflorescence is tall with few branched panicle of pink, with strobilate clusters of yellow flowers hidden in a coating of white, cottony trichomes. This plant makes a great landscape specimen.
