Neoregelia ‘Petit Minou’
Clone #4 of (Alley Cat x pauciflora), a grex of miniature Neos by Chester Skotak. The ‘Alley Cat’ parent (by Grace Goode) has N. punctatissima in it, which shows strong influence in this grex. This clone is more compact than other members of the grex, upright, to about 6 inches with a flaring, somewhat ampoule-like, vase shape and two inch long stolons.
The foliage is apple green to yellowish with crisp reddish banding, strong on the upper and undersides of the leaves. A good terrarium plant that is also useful as a clumping specimen in a decorative container or hanging pot or basket.
